We are approaching that time of year when we have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many people. Over the past few years, Memorial Mortuaries & Cemeteries have sponsored a food drive for the Utah Food Bank. Each year we have done this has brought out the best in each of us, and it has brightened the lives of many who do not have family or who do not have the means to obtain the food.
Our food drive will begin on November 15, 2008, and will go until December 15, 2008. We have a lofty goal of exceeding our mark of 6,000 pounds, which we met the previous two years. This year we would like to collect 10,000 pounds of food. We will have barrels in each of our locations. We invite you to bring in your non-perishable food items and to spread the word in your neighborhoods as well. In addition, our locations will be a collecting point for several neighborhood food drives. Your support of this is greatly appreciated. I am Brandon W.
